Pricing
Before undertaking any work a price is agreed with the customer.
Most common student instruments repairs are between £15 and £50.
Rates are competitive but not advertised, different technicians work at different speeds and it is not comparable
Dan Faulkner Instrument Services are not VAT registered.
Methods of payment
Cash or card is preferred.
All major debit and credit cards are accepted.
Bank transfer is also possible and preferred for overhauls.
Cheques are not accepted.
Timescales
Workshop space is limited, we don't want to hold onto your instrument indefinitely!
When quoting an estimated completion date will be agreed.
Overhauls are subject to available pad stock and usually take a few weeks, but updates will be provided along the way.
"Whilst you wait" is possible by prior agreement and only for very quick repairs (but not at all during Covid lockdown).
